In order to expand the processing range and expand the function, the horizontal CNC milling machine usually uses the increase of CNC turntable or universal CNC turntable to realize 4,5 coordinate processing. In this way, not only the continuous rotary contour on the side of the workpiece can be machined, but also the four sides of the workpiece can be machined by changing the position through the turntable in one installation.

 

4. Vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine

The spindle direction of the vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine can be changed, which can achieve both vertical processing and horizontal processing on one machine tool. At the same time, it has the functions of the above two types of machine tools. It has a wider range of use, more complete functions, more room to choose processing objects, and brings a lot of convenience to users. The spindle direction of vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine can be changed manually or automatically. Some vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines use universal CNC spindle head, which can convert the spindle head in any direction, so that it can process the workpiece surface with different angles from the horizontal plane. In addition, a CNC turntable can be added on the worktable of this kind of milling machine to realize the five side machining of parts.
